Song Saa is the Khmer word for sweetheart. Once considered salacious to have a song saa, modern times and evolving traditions have made this word more accepted, conjuring romantic visions of young love and the pangs of excitement from meeting someone new.
This gauze cotton scarf was handwoven in Takeo Province especially for MadeFAIR. In Cambodia, it's is called a krama, and serves as a wardrobe staple among the people during every season.
