Note: The "khaki" option looks gray in the images, but in real life, is more olive green.
Here are your everyday trousers made from Tencel, organic cotton, and spandex for just the right amount of stretch. The zipper detail on the front pockets add a bit of pizzazz without drawing attention.
Fabric Content: 52% Tencel, 45% organic cotton, 3% spandex
Tencel is an award winning eco-fiber made from tree cellulose farmed on wasteland. It's highly economical in its use of energy and natural resources, is bio-degradable, and fits like a glove.
Komodo has been a pioneering brand, promoting the use and development of organic cotton, hemp, bamboo, Tencel, and other natural fibers since the early 90s. Equally important is the welfare of the suppliers and people who work in the small factories that make their clothes. Their collections are designed in their London studio with the best available eco-fabrics and carefully tailored using traditional skills.
I'm curious about the wash on the khaki pants. I like the color in the plain picture and the one where the model is walking away, but in the picture of the model's feet, it looks like the coloring is kind of washed out or uneven. Is that just from the picture, or is the wash actually uneven like that?
The wash is definitely even on new pairs. The photo of the model's feet is a worn-in, washed several times sample, with the added contrast of a phone filter. I've never, actually, noticed that before. But, never fret! When you receive a pair it will look exactly as it does in the professional photo.
